As companies look at Artificial Intelligence ( AI ) and how it can benefit their business positively the search for skilled professionals in that discipline is intensive .
Research in the US has shown that data scientists have the number 1 job based on salary, job satisfaction and the number of job openings .
A recent study show that there are around 300,000 AI professionals worldwide with millions of roles available so clearly supply of AI talent is nowhere near matching demand .

In Ireland for example AI will increase the country’s GDP by 11.6% or 48 billion euro by 2030 according to PWC .The report goes on to say that AI will be ” likely be one of the biggest game changers seen this century and is likely to transform our lives as individuals, business leaders and as a society ”
