Amazing weather in Ireland for the past week heralds the arrival of the summer and there is more to come with next week hitting the highs of the past 3 days .

Roads to all coastal areas were jam packed with 1000s of people rushing to enjoy the Rays and take the opportunity to get a tan .

However concerned was expressed that many people are staying to long in the sun and are suffering from severe sunburn.

As Temperatures top 25C in the south and West the return to summer will be brief as the hit weather will spark thunderstorms on Tuesday night although temperatures will hit 26c in some parts of the country .

So best to enjoy the short burst of sunshine before it heads south to its usual home .
