Big announcement today by EY who are to hire 600 new recruits in Ireland over the next year.

These roles will be spread across the firms 10 offices and will be in a variety of specialisms .

EY have said that around 350 of the new roles will be for experienced workers with the remaining roles for graduates .

This expansion will bring the total number hired by EY to 3,700 people on the island of Ireland .

These new jobs will include roles in,

. Corporate Finance
. Business advisory
. Tax
. Accountancy
. Robotics
. AI Engineers
. Data Scientists.

More than half of the positions will be in Dublin in the firms 2 offices in the capital ,with the rest based in offices in Cork,Belfast, Galway and Limerick and wATERFORD.

The positions for experienced workers will be filled between now and June ,while the remaining graduate roles will be filled by this time next year .
