Great week for Drogheda with 150 new jobs.
Mobile Technologies INC. (MTI ) announced this week 150 new jobs for it’s European Headquarters based in Drogheda, County Louth .
The good news is that recruitment is already underway for a variety of technology based roles .
IMI specialise in mobile device technologies and was founded in 1997 with it’s Headquarters in Hillsboro ,Oregon USA and operates in over 90 countries.
Speaking at the official opening of the new facility Chris Remy CEO of Mobile Technologies said ” We chose Ireland due to it’s talented savvy workforce ,attractive business environment and it’s membership of the European Union ”
This announcement is yet another feather in the cap of the IDA and CEO Martin Shanahan welcomed the new plant ” The investment by MIT is fantastic news for the local economy of the North East region.These high quality jobs will have a positive knock on effect on the wider region and promote Drogheda as an ideal location for conducting international business ” he said.
