Job Description:

We are seeking a number of highly skilled and motivated Electronic Engineers to join our clients dynamic team in Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics design, development, and testing, with a passion for innovation and problem-solving. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of advanced electronic systems and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test electronic circuits, systems, and components to meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to evaluate the performance of electronic designs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the development and production phases.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including schematics, design specifications, and test reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in electronic engineering.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Support the manufacturing process by providing technical guidance and resolving production-related issues.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in electronic design, including analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
  • Proficiency in using electronic design automation (EDA) tools, such as Altium Designer, Cadence, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programmable logic devices (e.g., FPGAs).
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and Ethernet.
  • Experience with PCB layout design and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as CE, FCC, and RoHS, is desirable.
