About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel in Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. The Hotel Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the hotel, maintaining high standards of service, and driving profitability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Management
– Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
– Ensure all departments are running efficiently and in compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
– Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.

2. Guest Experience
– Ensure a high level of customer service is delivered at all times.
– Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
– Implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.

3. Financial Management
– Prepare and manage the hotel’s budget, including revenue and expense forecasting.
– Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures.
– Drive revenue growth through effective pricing strategies, upselling, and marketing initiatives.

4.  Staff Management
– Recruit, train, and supervise hotel staff.
– Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and professional development.
– Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to staff.

5.  Sales and Marketing
– Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to attract new guests and retain existing ones.
– Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, travel agencies, and other partners.
– Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

6. Compliance and Safety
– Ensure the hotel complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and health and safety standards.
– Conduct regular inspections to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff.
– Implement and maintain emergency procedures and protocols.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
– Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
– Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
– Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
– In-depth knowledge of hotel management software and MS Office.
– Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
– Exceptional customer service skills and a guest-oriented approach.
– Knowledge of local market trends and customer preferences.
