Mechanical Engineer – Ireland

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems and solutions to meet complex engineering challenges. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and efficient systems that align with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed mechanical designs using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

• Conduct feasibility studies, testing, and validation of prototypes and finished systems.

• Evaluate mechanical systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability.

• Liaise with project managers, electrical engineers, and external contractors to ensure seamless integration.

• Oversee installation and maintenance of mechanical systems on-site where required.

• Ensure all documentation, including technical drawings and safety protocols, is accurate and compliant.

Candidate Profile:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience; Chartered Engineer status or working towards is desirable.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with Irish and EU regulations and standards.
