300 new jobs for Dublin as Zendesk announce expansion

Over 300 new jobs are coming to Dublin as Zendesk the major technology company is expanding its operations in the Capital .

The new roles will be filled over a 3 year period and will be primarily in Engineering .

Zendesk ,set up in Copenhagen 10 years ago provides software for customer services .

It enables companies to offer services across multiple channels -from their website .e-mail and phone to Facebook ,Twitter and chat .

Zendesk set up in Ireland in 2012 and employ 200 people in their Dublin base and opened  a special dedicated data centre in Dublin in 2013 .

Zendesk has over 7500 customers in Europe – including big players like Just Giving,GOV.UK ,L’oreal and Glasgow NHS .

Software developers will be in high demand in the recruitment campaign along with key Sales and Customer Support staff .

People with language skills are also in  demand and a number of Legal roles will be on offer also.

Zendesk have 100,000 customers around the world and are growing strongly .

It is anticipated that over 50% of new hires will be from overseas and sourcing accommodation for new hires will be a significant challenge for Zendesk .
