Back 4 Good – Your future in Ireland is working with a fast-growing technology firm in Terenure, Dublin, seeking a talented Cloud Engineer to join their expanding IT infrastructure and DevOps team.
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions, primarily within AWS and Azure environments. You’ll work closely with software engineers, security teams, and system administrators to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure that aligns with the organisation’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud.

Automate deployment processes using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.

Monitor and maintain system performance, availability, and security.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application-related issues.

Ensure compliance with data protection and security policies.

Collaborate with development teams to improve infrastructure efficiency and reliability.
Essential Requirements:

3+ years’ experience in a cloud engineering or DevOps role.

Strong expertise with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable:

Cloud certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator).

Experience in a regulated or enterprise environment.
