Anaesthetists – 2 Roles

MyJobs is currently seeking two experienced Anaesthetists to join a high-quality clinical environment, working as part of a multidisciplinary medical and surgical team.

The Opportunity

The successful candidates will provide anaesthetic services across a range of surgical and clinical procedures. They will work closely with surgeons, nursing teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive appropriate assessment, anaesthesia and post-operative care.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct comprehensive pre-operative patient assessments.
* Develop appropriate anaesthetic plans based on individual patient needs.
* Administer general, regional and local anaesthesia as required.
* Monitor patients throughout surgical and medical procedures.
* Provide immediate post-operative care and pain management.
* Respond effectively to clinical emergencies and complications.
* Participate in multidisciplinary clinical decision-making.
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
* Ensure compliance with clinical governance, patient safety and regulatory requirements.
* Contribute to quality improvement, education and professional development initiatives.

Candidate Specification

Applicants should hold a recognised medical qualification together with appropriate specialist training and experience in anaesthesia.

Candidates must be eligible for the relevant medical registration required to practise in the location of appointment. Strong clinical judgement, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams are essential.

Experience within a busy hospital, surgical or acute-care environment is highly desirable.
