The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a dental professional who can provide high-quality specialist orthodontic care to patients across a broad range of age groups. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assess, diagnose and treat patients requiring orthodontic care, developing appropriate individual treatment plans and clearly explaining treatment options to patients and families.

Responsibilities will include managing fixed and removable orthodontic appliances, monitoring treatment progress, maintaining accurate clinical records and working closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals where multidisciplinary care is required.

The Orthodontist will ensure that all treatments are delivered in accordance with appropriate clinical, ethical, infection-control and patient-safety standards.

Candidate Specification

Applicants should have:

* A recognised dental qualification.
* Appropriate postgraduate specialist training in orthodontics.
* Eligibility for registration with the Dental Council of Ireland.
* Relevant clinical experience in orthodontic diagnosis and treatment.
* Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong clinical judgement and attention to detail.
* A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Experience with modern orthodontic techniques, digital treatment planning and clear aligner systems would be an advantage.

Role Details
