Senior Civil Engineer
Job Summary
The Senior Civil Engineer will lead and manage complex civil engineering projects in Ireland, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with Irish and EU regulations. This role requires a highly experienced professional with a strong background in design, construction, and project management.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead the planning, design, and execution of large-scale civil engineering projects, such as infrastructure, transportation, and water systems.
– Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
– Ensure compliance with Irish building regulations, environmental standards, and health and safety legislation.
– Mentor and guide junior engineers and graduate engineers.
– Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, including the **Local Authorities** and the **Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)**.
– Conduct technical reviews and approve engineering designs.
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
– Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with **Engineers Ireland** or equivalent.
– 8+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure, transportation, or urban development.
– Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and project management tools.
– Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Civil Engineer (Mid-Level)
Job Summary
The Mid-Level Civil Engineer will work on a variety of projects, contributing to design, analysis, and project management. This role is ideal for someone with a few years of experience looking to grow their career in civil engineering in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and utilities.
– Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
– Prepare technical drawings, reports, and cost estimates.
– Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders.
– Ensure projects adhere to Irish building regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
– 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering.
– Working toward or holding Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with **Engineers Ireland** is preferred.

Junior Civil Engineer / Graduate Engineer

The Junior Civil Engineer or Graduate Engineer will support the engineering team in various tasks, gaining hands-on experience in civil engineering projects. This role is ideal for recent graduates or students pursuing a degree in civil engineering.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist in the preparation of design drawings and technical documents.
– Perform basic calculations and analysis under the guidance of senior engineers.
