Job Summary:

Our client a large multinational organisation  are seeking skilled and motivated accounting professionals to join their team . Depending on the role, responsibilities will vary, but all positions require a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment. Below is a brief description of the roles we are hiring for:

  1. Financial Accountant: Responsible for preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and managing month-end and year-end processes.
  2. Management Accountant: Focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial insights to support business decision-making.
  3. Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk: Manages invoice processing, payment runs, and reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
  4. Tax Accountant: Ensures compliance with Irish tax regulations, prepares tax returns, and provides tax planning advice.

Key Responsibilities by Role:

Financial Accountant:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in compliance with Irish accounting standards.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Reconcile balance sheets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Management Accountant:

  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor and report on key financial metrics and variances.
  • Collaborate with department heads to provide financial guidance.
  • Prepare management reports and presentations for senior leadership.

Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk:

  • Process supplier invoices and employee expense claims.
  • Manage payment runs and ensure timely payments to vendors.
  • Reconcile accounts payable/receivable ledgers and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
  • Communicate with suppliers and customers to resolve queries.

Tax Accountant:

  • Prepare and submit tax returns, including VAT, PAYE, and Corporation Tax.
  • Ensure compliance with Irish tax regulations and deadlines.
  • Provide tax planning advice to minimize liabilities.
  • Liaise with revenue authorities and respond to queries.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and advise the business accordingly.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A recognized accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA) is preferred for Financial, Management, and Tax Accountant roles.
  • [X years] of experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish accounting and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills:
