Job Description:
A leading organisation based in Dublin 15 is seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller to lead its finance function and drive performance across the business. This is a pivotal role, responsible for the overall financial strategy, reporting, compliance, and controls, with a strong focus on delivering commercial insights and ensuring financial rigour.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least five years’ experience in a senior finance role. You will have a proven track record in leading finance teams, budgeting and forecasting, statutory reporting, and working closely with senior leadership to support strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the finance team ensuring high standards of performance and compliance
- Deliver monthly management accounts and financial analysis
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
- Ensure full compliance with tax, audit and regulatory requirements
- Partner with senior leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies
Skills & Qualifications:
- Professional accounting qualification
- Experience in ERP systems and strong Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
