As an Orthodontist, you will provide high-quality care in the diagnosis, prevention, and correction of malpositioned teeth and jaws. You will be responsible for developing personalised treatment plans, applying specialist appliances such as braces and aligners, and ensuring patients achieve the best functional and aesthetic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct orthodontic assessments, consultations, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Design and implement customised treatment plans for children, adolescents, and adults.
• Fit and adjust orthodontic appliances, including braces, retainers, and aligners.
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment as necessary.
• Collaborate with dental surgeons, hygienists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with Irish Dental Council requirements.

Candidate Profile
• Degree in Dentistry with postgraduate qualification in Orthodontics.
• Registration with the Irish Dental Council or eligibility to register.
• Proven clinical experience in orthodontics, ideally within a busy practice or hospital setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
