Back 4 Good – Ireland is seeking a dedicated Speech & Language Therapist to join a progressive multidisciplinary team in Athlone, providing assessment and therapy services to children and adults across a diverse range of communication and swallowing needs.
This is a full-time permanent role with excellent professional development opportunities, working within an established service that values innovation, empathy, and a client-centred approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat clients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties.
- Develop and implement individualised therapy programmes.
- Work closely with families, carers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in line with best practice and regulatory standards.
- Participate in service planning, evaluation, and development.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Speech & Language Therapy.
- CORU registration essential.
- Minimum one year of post-qualification experience desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
