We are looking for consulting engineers and contracting engineers .

The roles will include the following,

Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations .

Using a range of computer packages for developing detailed designs

Undertaking complex calculations.

Liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors .

Compiling Jobs Specs and supervising tendering procedures

Resolving design and development problems.

Managing budgets and project resources .

Scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries

Ensuring projects comply with legal requirements

Assessing the sustainability and environment impact of projects.

Ehsure that projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budgets and on time.

You will require a Degree in civil or structural engineering .

3 years plus experience in construction related projects.

Commercially Aware

Sound mathematical and technical skills including physics

Ability to maintain an overview of entire projects while continuing to attend to technicalities.

Negotiating,supervisory and leadership skills combined with the ability to delegate.

Speech & Language Therapists

Back 4 Good are working with a key Healthcare partner to source a number of Speech & Language Therapists to provide a high quality speech & language therapy service to designated client groups .

You will be be responsible for assessment,diagnosis,planning,implementation and evaluation of treatment/intervention programmes for service users according to professional standards.

Arrange and carry out assessment and treatment / intervention programmes in appropriate settings in line with regional policy/guidelines and professional standards.

Communicate results of assessments and recommendations to the service user and relevant others as appropriate.

Attend clinics and participate in meetings ,case conferences ,ward rounds as agreed with management.

Participate in teams as appropriate communicating and working with the service user and relevant others as part of an integrated package of care .

Operate within the scope of Speech & Language Therapy practice as set out by the Irish Association of Speech & Language Therapists .

Participate in and develop activities which support Health Promotion .

Other relevant duties as assigned.

Applicants must possess a B.Sc Degree ( Clinical Speech and Language Studies ) from a Third level College or Institute.

A suitable standard of professional attainment .

The requisite knowledge and ability ( including a high standard of suitability and ability ) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.

These appointments are pensionable .The successful candidates will upon appointment become a member of the appropriate scheme.

Whole time hours are to be confirmed at job offer stage.

The salary scale is strong and on a relevant public sector scale .

Quantity Surveyors

Quantity Surveyors are currently in high demand in Ireland in many sectors.

Back 4 Good has roles in all sectors of industry including Healthcare,Education,Public Buildings, Retail,and commercial ,residential and leisure and major infrastructure projects.

Working for a number of Back 4 Good clients you will be central to the decision-making process throughout the development of many projects from initial inception to final completion.

You will prepare cost plans for these projects which will enable the design team to arrive at practical designs and stay with budgets.

You will act as project manager and be a major contributor to each assignment.

You daily work activities will include preparing cost analysis based on architectural drawings,engineering estimates,materials required and labour involved.

Prepare cost plans to enable design teams to produce practical designs for construction projects which will involve liaising with architects,engineers and subcontractors.

Prepare tender and contract documents including bills of quantities .

Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors and where appropriate, negotiate with the contractors.

Control all stages of projects within predetermined budget and expenditure.

Monitor and keep tract of projects progress and be responsible for the measurement and valuation of variations in the work during the contract for agreement of interim payments and final account.

Work as part of a team to ensure that the requirements of the client are delivered.

Degree level qualification in Quantity Surveying required for these roles
