Executive Chef
Job Purpose:
To oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. The Executive Chef will lead the culinary team, design menus, manage budgets, and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus in line with the hotel’s brand and seasonal availability.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Manage food costs, inventory, and supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
- Collaborate with F&B management to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Introduce innovative culinary concepts while maintaining consistency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a high-quality hotel or restaurant.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Creative flair and passion for modern and traditional cuisine.
- Relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).

Head Chef (Sous Chef may report to this role)
Job Purpose:
To assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production and team efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee food preparation and presentation.
- Manage kitchen staff shifts and delegate tasks effectively.
- Ensure portion control and minimise waste.
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards.
- Step in for the Executive Chef when required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a hotel or fine-dining restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of international and local cuisine.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Sous Chef
Job Purpose:
To support the Head Chef in food preparation, kitchen supervision, and maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in menu planning and food production.

- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering.
Requirements:
