The Role

Successful candidates will undertake a broad range of electrical work and will be expected to carry out their duties safely, professionally and to a high standard.

Responsibilities may include:

* Electrical installation, maintenance and repair work
* Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults
* Reading and working from technical drawings and specifications
* Testing electrical systems and equipment
* Ensuring work is completed in accordance with relevant safety standards and regulations
* Maintaining accurate records of work undertaken
* Working effectively both independently and as part of a wider team
* Following site procedures and health and safety requirements at all times

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should be qualified electricians with the appropriate recognised electrical qualifications and relevant practical experience.

Candidates should also demonstrate:

* Strong technical and fault-finding skills
* A thorough approach to workplace safety
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to work independently and within a team
* Reliability and a professional approach to their work
* Flexibility appropriate to the requirements of the role

Relevant Irish electrical qualifications or qualifications recognised as equivalent will be required.
