Job Title: Mechanical Engineers

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising mechanical systems and components. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. The Mechanical Engineer will contribute to product development, testing, and validation to ensure performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Development: Produce detailed mechanical designs using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA) for components, machinery, and systems.
  • Analysis & Simulation: Conduct structural, thermal, and fluid dynamics analyses (FEA/CFD) to validate designs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Develop prototypes, perform performance testing, and analyse data to refine designs and resolve technical issues.
  • Project Management: Work with engineers, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure projects meet technical specifications, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Manufacturing Support: Assist production teams in improving manufacturing processes, reducing costs, and ensuring quality control.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure designs meet health and safety regulations, ISO/CE standards, and maintain accurate technical records.
  • Continuous Improvement: Research new materials, technologies, and engineering methods to enhance product performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: [X] years in mechanical design, product development, or manufacturing (graduates with relevant placements may apply).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD/FEA tools, knowledge of thermodynamics, mechanics, and materials science.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Chartered Engineer (CEng), Project Management (PMP), or Lean Six Sigma.

Work Environment:

This role may involve office-based work, lab testing, or on-site manufacturing support. Occasional travel to supplier or client locations may be required.
