Back 4 Good are sourcing a Senior Business Development Manager .This opportunity is to take charge of the Dublin market and acquire a base of recurring revenue customers .Our client is a well-estabished IT services company, with well -resourced technical services and its own private cloud infrastructure .
They are the ideal technology partner for progressive SME companies ,they have enterprise -strength services and the back-up and support expected by growth firms, that increasingly have no internal/IT people and whose existing suppliers are not resourced to bring their clients into cloud and digital-based environments .
What the Jobs will look like .
. Building a pipeline of qualified opportunities in the core SME market .
.Securing face-to-face meetings with owners and senior managers in SMEs 9 The stakeholders are more likely to be business owners/managers, rather than IT people .
. Manage new business opportunities from initial meeting through to Closed and handover to internal personnel.
. You will be in charge of providing the business with accurate monthly sales forecasts .
Your business Accountabilities
Annual Recurring Revenue and Gross Profit Target ,Minimum G.P target must exceed remuneration package x 3 times.
You will be selling to
The sweet spot for the business is substantial ;progressive SME firms ,that already see the value of moving to cloud -based ,flexible IT services and solutions ,but whose current arrangements (and suppliers ) are inadequate .
The target market is not served well by larger IT & Managed Services companies and equally badly served by small ,traditional IT services companies.
Skills/Qualifications
. You will be an established sales professional in the IT sector ,with a minimum of 5 years ,senior business development experience .
. A background in inside sales and/or telephone -based outbound prospecting will be a strong base for this role .
. New Business Acumen & Skills ; Outbound Prospecting ,Handling 1st and subsequent meetings ,managing opportunities through to closed.Presentation/Pitching skills are of course a given .
.Business acumen i.e being able to read business and its people and align that with IT requirements
.Experience working a sales pipeline and providing accurate sales forecasts.
. An existing network of contacts will be an advantage ;might not be IT related ,but you might ,for example ,have familiarity with specific sectors such as retail or professionals services
Ideal Candidate ; This is an entrepreneurial role ,you will be taking charge of the largest market in the country in terms of number of SMEs and scope ,It’s a ” business ” role ,as much as a sales role .You will be able to work on your own initiative and not depend on the level of support that you typically get from large firms, in time you may want to build a sales team for this client.
