Digital Retail Village Comes to Greystones: A New Way to Support Local Businesses
An exciting new initiative is being launched in Greystones to support local businesses in the digital age. Cllr Orla Finn, in partnership with TAP Retail, is inviting residents and business owners to a special Information Evening on Monday, June 23rd at 7pm, taking place at The Grid, Weaver Building, Charlesland, A63T9K1.

The event will introduce the Digital Retail Village, an innovative Irish-built platform already operating successfully in Foxrock. Developed by Tap Retail, a technology company based in Sandyford, this new model empowers independent retailers by helping them embrace digital commerce while continuing to thrive in-store.
The Digital Retail Village offers a hybrid solution where customers can shop online or in person, with local delivery and Click & Collect fully managed by TAP Retail. This initiative makes it easy for small businesses to adapt to shifting consumer habits while staying rooted in the local community.
Cllr Finn emphasises that this is a “practical, community-focused solution” designed specifically for Irish towns and independent traders. It aims to keep main streets like Greystones vibrant, competitive, and digitally future-ready.

The evening will explore how local business owners and managers can adopt the platform, with the added benefit of full logistical support from TAP Retail. It is an opportunity for Greystones retailers to modernise while keeping their identity local and personal.
Back 4 Good – Your Future in Wicklow is proud to support this initiative, as part of its mission to strengthen Wicklow’s economy by encouraging people to return home and contribute to local communities. Back 4 Good believes that projects like the Digital Retail Village are vital to sustaining jobs and revitalising town centres across the county.
Residents and entrepreneurs are encouraged to attend, share ideas, and explore how they can benefit from this digital shift. Light refreshments will be served, and all are welcome.
Let’s make digital local — together.
