Back 4 Good – Your future in Ireland is recruiting a Back-End Developer to join a leading technology team based in Dundrum, Dublin. This is a key role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining robust server-side systems that support high-performing digital platforms.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain APIs and back-end logic
- Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate user-facing elements
- Optimise performance, scalability, and security
- Manage databases and data storage solutions
- Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing systems
What You’ll Bring
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or PHP
- Experience with frameworks (e.g., Django, Spring, Laravel)
- Knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with Git and API design principles
Desirable Extras
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
- Understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
